Stand up paddling can be perceived as a somewhat odd sports activity at first glance. But during your first paddling you get lots of positive impressions and for many this activity quickly becomes addictive. Rental
At Kajaktiv Tjörn you rent the board for a full day, you come here in the morning and have the board until 5 pm. After some tips and tricks on how to do, you can then go out among Bohuslän’s cobbles and skerries. If you would rather take the board with you in the car and leave for your favorite beach, you roll the board unpack it in the backpack and pump it on the beach when you arrive. We have boards for Red Paddle that suits everyone whether you are a beginner or professional.
Course
We will guide you and learn the basics of hope that you will get a good start to a lifelong interest.

Inflatable boards have become the most popular construction in the European market thanks to the ability to roll them up and easily unpack it in a backpack. This means that you can easily bring it in the car, on the bus or flight. The boards are shock resistant and very robust. It is no problem to collide against stones or drop the board in the ground.
Directly adjacent to our store in Bleken lies the sea. Here you can try out all SUP boards in our range. When you visit us in the store, we listen to what you are looking for for the type of SUP and help you choose a couple of models to try the water. We go down to the dock and you test yourself. We strive to be able to give you who want to try out time and guide you to the right purchase. Therefore, it is a good idea to call first and announce that you will come, as the pressure during high season can be great. You may borrow paddle, life jacket and leash from us, but feel free to bring change and towel.
Large quality gaps between low -price boards and premium quality
As with most things, there are large quality differences between inflatable boards. Low -price boards may look good at first glance, but they are unable to keep the high pressure required to make a board really stiff. A good board should cope with a pressure of at least 20 psi. Red Paddle has 25 psi .. Cheap boards usually get a banana form when standing on them in the water and therefore becomes heavy to paddle forward, as they “plow” through the water instead of slipping on the surface. Redpaddle solves this with a pump that manages to deliver extra high pressure, a board that can withstand the pressure Sam two rails that are thrown into channels on the walls of the board, in the middle where the paddle stands.
